Zolpidem

Zolpidem is a drug that can be prescribed for the cases of insomnia – trouble falling asleep and staying asleep. It is prescribed for patients that need this kind of treatment and do not benefit from other remedies intended for the treatment of insomnia. You need to know about the possibility of developing certain side effects when taking zolpidem. While some serious side effects, such as hallucination, confusion and aggressiveness are sometimes possible, you are most likely to experience less serious zolpidem side effects that may include: nausea, weakness, dizziness, headache, stuffy nose, constipation, muscle pain, and amnesia (memory problems). The mild side effects mentioned do not need to be reported to your health care provider, while the serious side effects are supposed to be reported as soon as possible to see if a dose adjustment is required. In general, zolpidem is tolerated very well if taken as prescribed. Make sure you do not take this medicine for longer than 5 weeks without your doctor’s consent, as you may develop an addiction to this medicine otherwise. Store zolpidem is a dark and cool place where no one will be able to access it except for you.
